Nov 11, 2007 · 82-92 f-body cars will need the 6 inch tail shaft on the tranny, or a 200r4 drive shaft. plus you will need the kit from summit or jegs for the torque arm mounts+ you will need more $ for the additional gas your going to be burning with out having the over drive that was on your 700r4 trans and gas being OVER $ 3 BUCKS A GALLON! but on a good note a th350 cost bout half of a 700r4 good luck
