They are doing research, taking books out of the library on the topic, and naturally volcano pictures are all over the place! I love when we tackle … I love teaching character traits! When teaching character traits, I like to tie in character education. If students can make connections between characters in a book and people in real life, the strategy sticks and makes since. This post contains anchor charts that I have been effective in my classroom. I teach second grade, but many are versatile enough to use for other elementary grades.
