There is no need to go for a liquid/AIO cooled setup for the Ryzen 9 3900X when the Noctua NH-D15 offers performance on par with any 240mm AIO cooler today.

As mentioned, D14 is a slightly smaller predecessor of the D15 with Noctua's older fans and should be more than fine with a 3900x. Both versions are still top tier coolers. I'm running a 3900x with a lesser Fuma 2 and have no problems with temps even in a hot room.
